Why Observe and Absorb?

Absorb - to take in and make part of a whole

Many years ago my wife keep telling me to not only visit a place but to observe and absorb everything about the place. After the years I realized how important is to smell the local flowers each time you visit a new place. Those obervations properly absorbed create memories that lasts a whole lifetime. Now that just came back from a short trip to New Orleans I wanted to write more than a few captions that would be normally lost in various Facebook posts.
